You can also buy a cheaper version of Studio One - Artist for 100, but it wont run VSTs (very lame limitation, but you can upgrade that capability for another 80 or so if you need plugins). You can download demos of both and see how much sense each makes to you - one may fit better with your workflow than the other (Ive read that Studio One has a similar workflow to Logic, but I havent used Logic, so cant say).
Its 299, which is a little better than the full price (it was just on sale for 224, but that ended Sunday - not sure how often they have those sales).
